Must have at least 2 years of full-time paid work experience in an eligible NOC TEER 2 or 3 skilled trade occupation within the 5 years preceding the application.
Must meet Canadian Language Benchmark 5 in speaking and listening through an approved language test.
Must meet Canadian Language Benchmark 4 in reading and writing through an approved language test.
Must have either a full-time Canadian job offer of at least 1 year, OR a valid certificate of qualification issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial body.
Not strictly required, but each strengthens your case — the weight shown reflects how heavily our scoring engine (and in practice, adjudicators) value it.
Work experience must be in an eligible NOC TEER 2 or 3 trade occupation (72XX, 73XX, 82XX, 92XX, or cooks/chefs).
Valid Passport
Valid passport for all family members included in the application.
Language Test Results
Official results from an IRCC-approved language test taken within the past 2 years.
Certificate of Qualification
Provincial or territorial certificate of qualification for your skilled trade.
Canadian Job Offer Letter
Full-time job offer of at least 1 year from a Canadian employer in an eligible trade occupation.
Employment Reference Letters
Letters from employers confirming trade occupation, duties, dates, and salary.
Police Certificate
Police clearance from every country lived in for 6+ months since age 18.
Proof of Settlement Funds
Bank statements showing sufficient funds to settle in Canada for you and dependants.
