The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) selects immigrants who have the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to Saskatchewan's growing economy. The program operates through streams tailored to workers, international graduates, entrepreneurs, and farm owners.
International Skilled Worker Category
The largest SINP category targets internationally trained workers with skills that match Saskatchewan's in-demand occupations. There are two main pathways:
Existing Work Permit Sub-category
For foreign nationals already living and working in Saskatchewan on a valid work permit. Must have a full-time, permanent job offer from their current Saskatchewan employer.
Points-Based EOI
SINP uses a competitive EOI system for most streams. Candidates create profiles and receive points for: education (up to 23), language (up to 12), work experience (up to 15), age (up to 12), job offer (up to 25), and connections to Saskatchewan (up to 15). Invitations are issued in regular draws.
Entrepreneur and Farm Category
Saskatchewan also has streams for immigrant entrepreneurs willing to invest in a Saskatchewan business and for experienced farmers who will purchase farmland in the province.
