Must be nominated by a participating state or territory government, or sponsored by an eligible relative living in regional Australia.
Your nominated occupation must be on the MLTSSL or the relevant state/territory occupation list.
Must hold a positive skills assessment from the relevant Australian assessing authority.
Must be under 45 years of age at the time of invitation to apply.
Must demonstrate at least Competent English in all four bands.
Must score at least 65 points. The 15-point regional bonus counts toward this threshold.
Valid Passport
Current valid passport for all applicants.
State Nomination Approval or Relative Sponsorship
Official nomination letter from state/territory or approved Form 40CH from eligible relative.
Positive Skills Assessment Letter
Official positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority.
English Language Test Results
IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, Cambridge or OET results showing at least Competent English.
Employment Reference Letters
Signed employer references detailing role, duties, dates and hours per week.
Academic Qualifications
Degree certificates and transcripts for education points claimed.
Health Examination Results
HAP ID and completed health examination by an approved panel physician.
Police Clearance Certificates
Police clearances from all countries where you lived for 12+ months in the past 10 years.
