Must have a full-time, non-seasonal job offer from an employer designated by one of the four Atlantic provinces (NB, NS, PEI, or NL).
Must meet at minimum CLB 4 in all four language abilities through an approved test.
Not strictly required, but each strengthens your case — the weight shown reflects how heavily our scoring engine (and in practice, adjudicators) value it.
High-Skilled: 1 year in a NOC TEER 0/1/2/3 occupation. Intermediate-Skilled: 1 year in a NOC TEER 4 occupation. International Graduate: completed an eligible Atlantic degree/diploma.
Must consult with a designated settlement service provider and develop an individualized settlement plan before provincial endorsement.
Must plan to live and work in the specific Atlantic province that endorsed the application.
Valid Passport
Current passport for all applicants and dependants.
Atlantic Employer Job Offer Letter
Full-time job offer letter from an AIP-designated Atlantic employer, including NOC code, wage, and permanent status.
Provincial Endorsement Letter
Official endorsement letter from the Atlantic province authorizing the AIP application.
Settlement Plan
Signed individualized settlement plan developed with a designated settlement service provider.
Language Test Results
Official IRCC-approved language test results (IELTS, CELPIP, TEF, TCF).
Employment Reference Letters
Letters from employers confirming occupation, duties, salary, and dates.
Education Credentials
Degrees, diplomas, or transcripts. Atlantic international graduates must include proof of graduation.
Police Certificate
Police clearance from every country where you have lived for 6+ months since age 18.
