Contact your university's international student office to confirm your degree completion has been reported to UKVI. This must be done by the institution before you apply for the Graduate visa.
Apply for the Graduate visa via the UKVI online portal. Pay the visa application fee (£822 for 2-year, £822 for 3-year) and the Immigration Health Surcharge. Must apply before your current Student visa expires.
Processing typically takes 8 weeks. You will receive an email with your visa decision. The Graduate visa is issued as a digital eVisa — no BRP for new applicants from 2025 onwards. You can start working immediately once approved.
