🇬🇧 United Kingdom · Graduate Visa
3 mandatory requirements, 1 supporting factor, and 5 core documents — here is exactly what United Kingdom expects.
Missing any of these disqualifies an application outright — confirm them before investing in fees or document preparation.
Must currently hold, or have recently held, a UK Student visa (previously Tier 4). The Graduate visa application must be made while in the UK.
The higher education institution where you studied must hold a Student sponsor licence and be on the UKVI register of licensed sponsors.
Must have completed and passed the full degree course — not just attended. The institution must have reported the completion to UKVI.
Not strictly required, but each strengthens your case — the weight shown reflects how heavily our scoring engine (and in practice, adjudicators) value it.
The Graduate visa is a once-in-a-lifetime permission. Cannot have previously held one.
Valid Passport
Current passport. The Graduate visa will be linked to your passport number.
Current Student Visa / BRP
Your current Student visa vignette or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) proving active Student visa status.
Degree Certificate or Confirmation of Completion
Official degree certificate or letter from the university confirming successful completion of the full course.
Bank Statements
May be required to show you can support yourself. Not usually needed if applying on time.
Digital Photograph
