Must have been awarded a degree from an institution in the UKVI HPI approved list (top 50 globally in QS or THE ranking). Degree must have been awarded within the past 5 years.
The qualifying degree must have been awarded no more than 5 years before the HPI visa application date.
Not strictly required, but each strengthens your case — the weight shown reflects how heavily our scoring engine (and in practice, adjudicators) value it.
Must demonstrate English at CEFR B1 level. Applicants who studied their degree in English (at the qualifying institution) may be exempt. Otherwise an approved SELT is required.
Must show at least £1,270 in personal bank account held for at least 28 consecutive days before applying.
Valid Passport
Current valid passport.
Degree Certificate
Official degree certificate from the qualifying global university, confirming the level and award date of the degree.
Academic Transcripts
Official transcripts from the qualifying university.
Bank Statements (Maintenance £1,270)
Bank statements showing £1,270 or more held for 28 consecutive days.
English Language Evidence
UKVI-approved SELT results at CEFR B1 or letter confirming degree was taught in English.
Tuberculosis Test Certificate
Required for applicants from certain countries — from a UKVI-approved clinic.
