Must hold a valid CAS reference number from a UKVI-licensed higher education institution. The CAS must be used within 6 months of issue.
Must demonstrate English at the required level for the course, usually through an approved SELT (e.g., IELTS for UKVI Academic). Typically IELTS 5.5–6.5 depending on course.
Not strictly required, but each strengthens your case — the weight shown reflects how heavily our scoring engine (and in practice, adjudicators) value it.
Must show sufficient funds: £1,334/month in London or £1,023/month outside London for up to 9 months, held for 28+ consecutive days.
Students under 18 must provide parental consent to study in the UK and evidence of care arrangements.

CAS Reference Number
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number from the UKVI-licensed institution.
English Language Test Results (IELTS for UKVI Academic)
Official SELT results from a UKVI-approved test provider showing the required score for the course.
Bank Statements (28-day maintenance evidence)
Official bank statements showing the required maintenance funds held for 28+ consecutive days.
Academic Transcripts and Qualifications
Transcripts, degrees, or diplomas from previous studies demonstrating you meet the entry requirements.
Tuberculosis Test Certificate
Required for applicants from certain countries — certificate from UKVI-approved clinic.
