Choose between a Direct Investment (you manage the business) or a USCIS-designated Regional Center investment. Conduct due diligence on the project, developer, and economic analysis.
Transfer investment capital to the enterprise or escrow account. Prepare comprehensive source-of-funds documentation tracing the entire history of the invested funds.
File I-526E (for Regional Center investments) or I-526 (for direct investments) with USCIS. This establishes your priority date and begins adjudication.

After I-526/526E approval and priority date becoming current, file I-485 (AOS) or complete consular processing to receive a 2-year conditional permanent resident card.

Within the 90-day window before your 2-year conditional green card expires, file Form I-829 to remove conditions by proving the investment was sustained and 10 jobs were created.
