Submit an initial EOI to the Global Talent team at the Department of Home Affairs describing your achievements, target sector and the nominating organisation. The team will assess whether your profile meets the program criteria.
The nominating organisation submits their endorsement directly to the Department of Home Affairs, confirming your prominence in the target sector and your salary prospects. Work closely with your nominator to prepare a compelling endorsement.
Once invited by the Global Talent team, lodge your formal Subclass 858 application in ImmiAccount. There is no application fee. Upload all evidence of your international prominence and the endorsement reference.
Complete mandatory health examinations through an approved panel physician. Provide police clearances for all countries where you have lived for 12+ months in the past 10 years.
The Global Talent team assesses your application. Straightforward cases may be decided in weeks; complex cases or high application volumes may take several months. You will receive the decision via ImmiAccount.
