Must be endorsed by an Australian organisation recognised by the Department of Home Affairs — such as a university, research institute, professional association or major employer in the target sector.
Must have genuine prospects of earning at or above the Fair Work High Income Threshold, or be an emerging leader with equivalent prospects.
Your field of expertise must fall within one of the 8 designated target sectors identified by the Department of Home Affairs.
Valid Passport
Current valid passport for all applicants.
Endorsement from Nominating Organisation
Official endorsement letter submitted by the nominating Australian organisation confirming international prominence and salary prospects.
Evidence of International Recognition
Awards certificates, publication list, patent records, press coverage, board/executive appointments, funding records or other evidence of international prominence.
Curriculum Vitae / Resume
Comprehensive CV detailing career history, qualifications, achievements and publications.
Academic Qualifications
Degree certificates and transcripts relevant to the target sector.
Evidence of Salary Prospects
Employment contract, offer letter or other evidence demonstrating earnings at or above the Fair Work High Income Threshold (AUD 167,500).
Health Examination Results
HAP ID and completed health examination by an approved panel physician.
Police Clearance Certificates
Police clearances from all countries where you lived for 12+ months in the past 10 years.
