Government processing times move with caseload. Check the official processing-time page for the current published estimate — our platform tracks these automatically.
Research the 11 RNIP participating communities and identify which ones align with your occupation and lifestyle preferences. Search for job opportunities directly with community employers. Check that your employer meets the community's designation requirements.
Complete an IRCC-approved language test. CLB 4 required for NOC TEER 3/4 occupations; CLB 5 for TEER 0/1/2.
Submit your community recommendation application to the local economic development organization for your chosen RNIP community. Provide proof of job offer, language results, work experience, and intent to settle in the community.
Once recommended by the community, submit your permanent residence application to IRCC within 6 months. Include the community recommendation letter, all IRCC forms, and supporting documents.
Follow IRCC instructions for biometrics, medical exam, and any additional documents requested. IRCC will process your PR application.
