Obtain a permanent offer of employment from a qualifying university, research institution, or private company with 3+ full-time researchers. The position must be permanent (tenure-track or equivalent).
Compile documentation proving you meet at least 2 of the 6 EB-1B criteria. This typically includes publications, citation records, peer review invitations, award certificates, and reference letters.
Your employer submits the I-140 petition along with your evidence, a support letter, and proof of the permanent job offer. No PERM labor certification is required.

After I-140 approval, monitor the Visa Bulletin for your priority date. When current, file Form I-485 for Adjustment of Status (or DS-260 for consular processing).

Complete biometrics appointment, medical examination by a USCIS civil surgeon, and any required interview. Receive Permanent Resident Card upon approval.
